My item is backordered, what does this mean?

When an item is on backorder it means that we need to source the item directly from the manufacturer. In some cases the item is sent to us before it's forwarded to you, and in other situations the manufacturer ships the item directly to you. A backordered item will be noted as such when you select the color and size. Instead of saying “In Stock” next to your selection, it will say: "Ship Date: _____" which is an estimate on when we expect to ship it out.
